hey,

how did your profs get so high when you've done only 1 MQ?

I work on them... re roll character when the killing gets sluggish.
At the stage with the items I have... I can get to level 30-35 easily enough in Arena...
When I mean easily... I mean I can get to those levels at the same time a full group could in Catas.

I utilise my low levels as I start again. (confused?... i will have to explain a bit better)
I have rank14 in Sword... this means I will not get any profs until I am level 15 (class @ lvl15)... so
I use different weapon when I start over again... this way I gain Proficiencies in that... when I get to lvl15
I change my weapon to Sword... so I gain profs there again.

Since I can "Well" effectively @ lvl15/20... I do some welling... this gives me the best proficiency gain...

NOTE: Once I reached Rank10 in Sword... I went all the way to attempt my MQ... which I failed... but then I thought that I could do more Ranks... making it easier to go up levels... since I have junk gear... I need all the help I can get with Proficiencies and also gain some better low/mid gear to upgrade or sell in MP...

I will be MQ'ing a bit more... thinking of getting my Sword upto Rank20+ so that our Guild is #1 in one area... at the same time I will be upping my other Proficiencies:
Club
Axe
BattleAxe
WarHammer

All Charms:... that is right... my barb will be using charms soon enough... and will gain as much profs in them also...
Slow... but still a good start once I get to Monk/Warlock... having the ability to cast already...

my pc thread said its somewhere around 275-375, but i think 375 is just a little high, worth probably closer to 275.

if someone in the guild wanted it, id say 200, if i put it on the MP id put it on for 300.

I figured it out on my own... after my first character... izBarb... he died 20+ times and only rank4 Sword... If only I knew better.

Do not die... Why?
Per Monster (x amount attacks) you get maximum of 10 points into your proficiency (example sword)
Each Rank goes up by 1000 points (basically 100 monsters if you gain perfect 10 prof points per)
Lose 10% Proficiency Points if you die (depending on amount of Proficiency points... this is nasty)

Example: Rank 14 (14,000/15,000)... You Die.... Rank 14 (12,600/15,000)... you lose 1,400 points... that equates to another 140 monsters to kill if you are still recieving perfect 10 prof points per monster.

The worse thing about this... it not only effects one (1) set of proficiencies... it effects all attacking and healing proficiencies.

yeah dying is terrible when you are trying to lvl your proficiencies...

you are doing a great job so far tho, making us all proud!

why does the well have to tease me so much.... GRRR

welled that, i think it was the only thing i kept, not bad, but sold to my bro because he needed some lower lvl tank armor.

so this welling trip netted no real good results... but on a plus side, i welled over 50 items and only died 5x. ~90% weller!

gonna MQ later. need a break.

Okay... now I know what amount to get... I will get the 200fg as soon as possible...
This means that I can up my Axe Proficiency at level55 when I go to do MQ later on... hopefully soon.
