If you have the right items, you can play solo without problems and in a fast way

soloing is really easy now, i've spent maybe 20 some fg and been able to climb up to 25 pretty quickly without need to shrine to much.

I solo all the time and my gear is horrible

It is actually fun to solo again. You could easily solo with average gear and drops seem to be pretty good lately too
