and for gear and stats when i got my first samurai the other day i used swords and strength charms and strength and EE armors

and stats i put 5 to 10 into vita and the rest into strength and it worked out pretty well

why is it so hard to get a run? is it just me? does nobody want to slash with me or something? am I just filler for a desperate group? maybe i should do a poll. that might save me lots of time trying to find a group if nobody wants to slash with me. seems like nobody else has trouble getting a run when they want to. wonderful..... paul fucked us out of arena, made solo suck, drops are even worse and you can't find a run. sometimes i wonder why i keep playing this fucking game. sometimes i would rather masterbate with sandpaper. sigh......

Other than the expletives, I too am running into the same problem, although not quite as drastically.


Addressing the issue of arena -- that was the ideal proving ground for new players to get the feel of the game. Now, with solo in catacombs, it's insta-rape for them, unless they are lucky enough to join a newb-friendly group.
This is a huge dis-incentive for newcomers to continue and will cause the game to degenerate even more.
Drops -- well I don't like to discuss things that bring a bad taste to my mouth, so i will let your imagination decide what I think of them
Runs -- there are those that are lucky and get invitations, or are welcome to cata's unless they are full. Many times these games are pre-organized, which immediately prevents new players or even well-established players from joining.
It is also somewhat of a challenge to get anything other than a 1 - 71 cata going, so if you are stranded in limbo at lvl 31, for example, the cata group will whizz past you time and time again, because there is no room for you.
As to that kinky sandpaper issue -- OOO AGONY!!!

since I started this game has become progressively poorer in content and gameplay

My opinion (probably only mine):
(1) There should be something like durability in D2.
Why? Way too much items in game... prices went 10 times lower than they should be + new items constantly dropping (due to people making ambush runs and so... hunting for items...).

(2) Implementation of "first run".
What is that?
Every season you have to make a single pure solo run to first MQ of season (character based ofc). That way you prove that you have some gear to continue playing.
Thats way no complete randoms would appear (like people I have seen playing with T1 gear (no, not unspawnable but starting no stat whites) at level 40+...
I hate that and guess that everyone does.

That was my solo only char & I was getting bored. So I joined up with that group for a change of pace. He's not in Ricks update, so your eyes are just fine

Acknowledgements are not usual unless we have a char within the range you are seeking, or if we are not reading the chat at the time of your post.

Many times I have come in to check, and your post is 2 or 3 hours old -- and acknowledging that would be a waste of time.

There are 2 requirements for cata's : be on line, be in range.

This problem is mainly caused by the lack of players - which has dropped considerably since the early days of LS glory, as well as the difficulties encountered by new players to get going, stay in the game, and increase the player base
