Cant specialize yet until I apply for my residencies, hoping to eventually go into oncology. I have a friend attending MCUG doing anesthesia he seems to enjoy it, nursing is convenient because the hours are limited and your not on call "usually". Not to mention the pay is incredible for amount of effort required.

The kids coming out of FGCU that are working at NCH where my mother is a nurse are usually making over $150,000 a year to start. I should have been done with it by now. But instead I've tried to major in Slashing and I fucking blow at this too.

Especially if you have family contacts in the field it will allow for an easy transition into an school for you. Having family history or parents etc in medical will help enormously on your apps.
