The press-room works hard to generate perfectly false rumours -- the most prevalent (possibly planted by a mule ---remember- this is totally unsubstantiated, non-provable, and will likely poof) -- Empire will NOT attempt the final MQ until they are within striking distance of DC!

Late afternoon -- strategically located snoopers (known as ladder spies) report all Empire troops are moving upwards,
