Desolate Carnage Edition - Good Guys Activity Report
Morning Glance:
542 Desolate Carnage ------------ Bump'n'Grinders holding off the E-team
462 Empire -------------------------- Looking upwards, while watching their butts (Can you visualize that??)
374 The Trust ---------------------- Thrusting towards the 400 mark, aiming at Empire
269 Divine Knights International-- Relatively quiet, not much activity lately. Could be bumped down a spot by:
269 Chill ------------------------------ Hot as HELL! This team has made no secret of what they want! Top Spot!
The upper end has undergone a bit of a change as well:
MoRtiX Ninja 51
Maximusrus Ninja 20
mikew1 Monk 36
Tweetie Paladin 52
DumDum Paladin 46
MaryJuana Paladin 44
MATRONY Paladin 1
Eyes will be peeled observing the advance of these 7 players - every time one happens to graduate, especially from Monk+, your prognosticating editor predicts panic stations from many un-informed and poorly advised players.
Closer to home, we have the usual Samurai Good Guys swinging their Katana's in search of Paladin status.
Always visible on the main ladder, we will just note their achievements as they happen.
Not always in the limelight, however, are the feeder classes. This editor will spend more time on these intrepid slashers, as most of them (unfortunately) just have a brief moment of glory before their dreams are dashed to dust.
Coming up for his MQ encounter very soon is RatzeOxi - lvl60 fighter - representing Empire. Can he close the gap with a big 10??
Natester seeks Pally-dom! Will he be Pallinated?? 60.5 and climbing as we snoop. Nope! +1 for the good guys! (E-team)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CHILL GOES BANANAS!!
Jubilant Chillers react explosively to their long-awaited fulfillment of goal number 1 -- Get Past DKI!
A warning is issued to The Trust: "Look out!" and, "You're next!!"
Chill heads to the locker room to plan strategy for step number 2 -- becoming Trust-busters!
Though it's by a single point, which can easily be recovered by DKI, Chill does not seem overly concerned.
The question now is -- will DKI respond? We shall see as the day goes on.
AHA! it has been noticed! Nesben, from DKI snorts: "Psh im about to get 10 gps for dki, ezpk"
Is this just a scare tactic?? He does not identify the name of his char ... hmm.. time to dig a bit.
After some intensive 'behind the scenes' investigation, your determined Editor must admit defeat. Even after heavy bribes of
finger-balm, Nesben refused to reveal his char name, except to say: " it won't be today - need to get some better gear"
Could we have a paper tiger here?? Guess it's just 'wait and see' time.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Bifido Samurai 61 steps up for Desolate Carnage! Can he widen the zone?? NOSIREE!! No Danish Pally yet! But he has nullified the E-team's earlier gain.
543 Desolate Carnage
463 Empire
375 The Trust
271 Chill
269 Divine Knights International
The top 4 have each gained at least a point each today! Not quite the explosive moves that were possible, but gains nonetheless.
Two other guilds may become part of the equation soon:
179 Russian Dominion
177 Friends
It is mathematically possible for either of these two guilds to jump into the top 5, were they the ones to reset the game.
At the very least, they will keep on climbing, probably offering each other support as they climb ever upwards
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So, gentle readers, it is time to send this rag to the street.
Empire and DC scored offsetting singles, Chill moved 2 points up on DKI, and The Trust just keeps on chugging along.
Session 4 is coming along nicely, no screams of outrage as were prevalent in previous sessions,
and it appears that life aint all that easy up there in 'elite' territory any more.
This scurrilous production has been brought to you by the society for the restoration of broken mouses.
