check this might help maybe

first put the item from the top slot of armor/weapon/charm into your equipment.
then put the gear you want to use into your equipment.
then put the regen gear in your equipment and walla..

you wear the regen gear and can switch to your wanted gear (wich should be top1 of charm/armor/weapon) and your reg gear will also stay top1st slot.
