hmmm idk guess it depends on how you look at it... i do like axes on barbs i myself have some left from when i was a barb... but if u look at it this way using a sword u can go barb-pally same set of weps only reason i look at clubs as a good choice is because they so much cheaper than swords

i look at axes because then u only hit high fx: club dmg: 7-320

axe: dmg 200-300, i like that, and look at my guardian named: muleformq, that ass kick ass

well i saw when u offered 200fg and the bin was 300, i could easily PM and taken BIN but i didnt wanna since i saw it was u who offered 200fg and i thought u might need it
