I hope my kids grow up with a great sense of family. Even though I'm in the Army and most holidays are spent away from family, I hope they appreciate the time the spend with them.
I miss the yearly tradition of going to my grandparent's house for Christmas. This will be the first year that it won't be happening.
The younger generation (well the younger then me) seem to not have the family values that I was raised to appreciate.
Enjoy all the time you have with them, trust me, one day you won't even have the option.
