I will be on the look out for it man, can't wait to see what you have in mind!

Alright, here it is (the pinned/stickied version will be shorter):
Major Announcement:
Labyrinth co-leaders have decided on several improvements to the Guild. The changes will involve (1), our policies, focus and expectations, (2) our ranks, and (3) the creation of new Guild Forums. Some of these changes will be effective immediately.
The BASIC changes are as follows:- 30-60-90 rule: this policy is about Guild activity. If members become inactive for 30 days, they may be demoted one rank; after 60 total days, they may be retired in our retired rank; after 90 total days, they may be removed. This policy will be relatively strict but if someone has a good reason for being away (extended illness), that person can PM a co-leader who will inform the other co-leaders to put off any removal from the Guild. Guild activity will include posting in this topic with some frequency, using our ventrilo system, gaining GPs, posting in our Guild topics here: http://forums.d2jsp.org/guild.php?a=16&i=167 It will also include other stuff, like participation in Guild activities, and using our upcoming GUILD FORUMS (more about that later!)
If you're making some kind of regular contributions to Guild activity and communication, you have absolutely nothing to worry about. - focus on Ladder Slasher: this is about our general gaming focus; we're still enthusiatic about gaming in general, so Runescape players and Diablo II players should feel at home. Labyrinth will be making Ladder Slasher its official game of choice, but this doesn't mean we won't support other gaming. Our Ladder Slasher funds are already well-developed, and we have LS activities (Guild-only cata's)--the focus on LS will just mean that we'll put more effort into recruiting active slashers and keeping our slashers happy

- new ranking system: our old rank system will be updated to reflect our new focus on increased activity and Ladder Slasher gameplay. We will introduce a tiered ranking system divided by the type of activity that someone participates in. LS players will have a set of ranks, Runescape players, Diablo II players and general forum users/gamers will also have tiered sets of ranks. All rank types (LS ranks, Runescape ranks, etc) will be equal in value, and it will only be within each rank set that the tiers will matter. Example, Slasher I vs Slasher II (where these ranks are not equal), and Slasher III vs Lord of Destruction III (where these ranks are actually equal). We will also introduce some special new ranks.
- RETURN OF GUILD FORUMS: this is a MAJOR update. I will soon buy Guild Forum software, hosting services and a domain for a new Guild Forum. Jos (Dream_Theater) and I will work on some administrative functions and some co-leaders will test the forums before we open them to the Guild and the public. es_angel and some other co-leaders will help with design and other Administrative duties, and all of our co-leaders will have some administrative and moderator level abilities. These forums will have a secure host, they will be internally secure, and they will be designed to play a major role in the future of Guild development. We're excited to bring back Guild Forums because our previous versions were well-liked. But now we will have a more secure Forum with no ads and a powerful forum board firing behind it

I will be shopping for Forum software tonight; the rest will be purchased within a week or so; the forums will be prepared within a few weeks
EDIT: oh yeah, I will update the rank system tonight if possible. Bear with me because it will involve some work--gotta figure out who plays which games and where people currently rank
