Well my D3 days are over untill I figure out what the fuck happened.
Was playing this morning and got booted. Tried to log back in and got an error that said something like, There was a problem with the authentication module Error 198486031.
Was on the phone with them for about 2hrs and still couldn't figure it out. Oddly enough, my Ventrilo stopped working as well. It will let me get on, but won't let me move channels, and will kick me after about 15secs.
Then tells me to make sure server is working.

Everything else works. Internet works fine. Porn works fine.
So I guess im done untill I figure out what the fuck happened.

did you recently do any updates to your computer?
maybe try to do a system restore to see if it will work again
if it does, then there was some type of change in your system

Nothing at all. Its kind of aggravating really lol. I was just sitting there playing and BAM.
I'll prolly try a system restore in a day or so if this problem doesn't work itself out.
Never done one so I will have to figure out how.

I'm pissed, I feel like I wasted my whole day off trying to get my fucking laptop to work lol.

Due to the fact that I never backed anything up before, there were no restore points.
I guess since I never thought I needed it, I never did a backup.

The funny thing is my Ventrilo stopped working as well. I can get on, but won't let me move channels.
Then about 30 seconds later it kicks me off and tells me to make sure the server is working....
So fucking odd lol.

I think my only options are to either wait to see what Blizzard says after I sent the info they needed and/or reinstall both D3 and Vent.

does your vent have problems with other people's servers?
try running your anti-virus in safe mode

It stopped working at same time d3 did. I'm gonna reinstall them this afternoon and see what happens.

Well I think were down to it may be my router. I just uninstalled and reinstalled D3.
Thanks to my broadband connection it took literally about 36hrs.
If it doesn't work when I try it, I'll have to go downstairs and hardwire to the internet and see what happens.
Not sure I have the energy to do it tonight. Hopefully that works.
Cause jambes won't be able to get anymore gear without me getting back on

oh man 36 hours? ^^
i know it took a while for me as well to install d3.. but more like 4 hours
