I haven't heard anything about Skyrim? You guys still play it? Beat it?
I saw some mods for it on curse.com too (sure you guys already know that)
I've logged 65 hours so far, and would say I'm about 15% done with the quests in the game.
There is so much to do I'm often overwhelmed by it.
The Creation Kit for it is not out yet, so any mods you see for the game are rough ones. Wait till Bethesda releases the Creation Kit then the real mods will start flowing out like hotcakes. Skyrim has the rest of Tamriel already built into the game. So the possibilites are endless. Literally, and entire world left untouched and ready for modding. An huge stream of quests, activities, items, worlds, etc will be created faster than you can play it.
I play on PC with a 360 controller to my PC's USB port, and an HDMI cable from my PC to a 40" 1080p LCD TV. I met specs for "ULTRA" settings, and the game looks beautiful. One thing I will say is Skyrim has the most realistic, and most realistic looking water I've ever seen in a video game. It is beautiful.
A game of this size, certainly has it's bugs. Like Adam says, once a sitting or so I'll get a random crash or two. But it's already been revealed that the fix for it, amond other performance and quests bugs, are being worked on in a patch to be released.
10/10 from me. Not disappointed in the least and would recommend it to anyone who considers them self a "real" gamer and not a poser gamer.
EDIT: Anyone interested in playing, I strongly suggest the PC version. If you must, you can try the 360 version. Just stay away from the PS3 version! Bad! It has some compatibility bugs effecting gameplay and framerates. A lot of PS3 users up in arms about it. Silly kids, PS3's are for newbs.
