I wanna say congrats to all those that followed along with the Daily Readings. The previous reading of Amos 4 marked the end of the first session which was a six week period of following along in the Bible. Today begins a six month journey that will give a more in-depth over-all understanding of the bible. I encourage you all to follow along, I will do my best to keep this a six month journey for I know the six week journey was much longer due to me not posting every day.

Here is the start of our new journey.

Daily Reading: Genesis 1

Hey Guild, how is everyone? I just wanted to let David know that my church has something to motivate people into reading the entire Bible from cover to cover, they will award a certificate to who ever reads the whole entire Bible. Hope all of you are having a blessed day and a dry day as well, it is raining like crazy here in California.

If you follow along with the Daily Reading you will. I'm taking this directly from a plan set in the "Quest" Bible that I own. However it will take longer then a year for the plan is to read a chapter a day.

I pray that you keep to your commitment and accomplish your goal Marco as it is a great feat and a great honor to be able to read the Bible from cover to cover.

God bless.

alright, no worries.

as far as reading the bible goes, it sure gets a little dry around the time you start reading about "X begat Y, who begat Z, etc....." Always best to try and mix it up when you can.

That's what this plan does, it doesn't have you read the entire book of Genesis but it'll have you read maybe a few chapters and then skip to another part of the bible.
