As a rule of thumb, always go to town when your hp is near half. This will let you survive most encounters but not all. Also stat 100 vita every climb and do this before adding any other stats.

Kick RNG in the nuts as you climb the steps to mq and yell YOLO as you open the doors. Works like a champ.

Also sorry I didn't get to slash earlier, wife thought it was a good idea to send me grocery shopping on xmas eve....
