Look for either strength or EE armors,
I think that when you're starting EE is the best since you can almost get in every catacomb game when you're a tank. Wether your damage is high or low.
If you get the hang of the game you could decide for yourself if you wan to get a str armor set.

Also keep in mind the following
every Tier up (III - IV / IV - V / etc...) the demage of the weapon a tier up is 20 EE more then one down.
So a 20 EE tier III sword has the same demage as a 0 EE tier IV sword

so if you already have that 70 ee lvl 15 (tier VI) sword it would be useless to get a 50 or less EE lvl 20 (tier VII) sword!
