The fastest leveling is by either joining a group or making your own.
It's easy to solo at first, but gets too challenging when you don't have any gear yet, so eventually you will have to spend some fg on items.
You can scour the Marketplace for cheap items that are 1fg.

When I was a LS noob, I had the same questions, worried that I would never make it to Master Quest @ lv71.
Just get used to playing the game when there's a good group around you can get carried, and if it's too tough to go solo because no one is online,
well that is the time you should be sleeping

Nope, but don't worry about that. It is entirely based on chance, and you have exactly a 1/6 chance of passing your first attempt so don't get tripped up if you fail a few times first



And yes, this game is incredibly in depth and complicated. People debate strategies and mechanics for weeks on end sometimes and a lot of it is still speculation
