Just a little update on my "Lag machine" status.
I'm still lagging out and dropping out of internet connection every 10-15 minutes. This has been happening with more and more frequency over the past couple days and its at the point where I can't spend 10 fricken minutes online before dropping my connection. Well I got pissed enough to call up my ISP this evening because after numerous tests (switching routers, checking with XBox live, connecting modem straight to computer, etc), I've come to the conclusion that my internet issues are not on my end, but on my ISP's end. Well, I called up my ISP and first thing that came up was a automated voice, ok that is normal no biggie. Well as the automated voice gave his little schpleel, he started mentioning some cities in NE Ohio, and mentioned my city in his list, and said that these cities may be experiancing slow internet speeds with their High Speed Internet service. The voice continued to say their engineers are working on the issue and that if this is the reason for my call I may hang up as they are aware of the issue. So, for one I am happy that this not ONLY happening to me. But it seems it is happening to the region. Hopefully it is fixed soon, it's been 2 days now where I've had basically no internet. Just an update for all. I hope to be back slashing soon without any lag/connection issues.
