Slashy slash, I am in the market for some STR armors, preferably scales, if anyone see's any for trade or has some to sell let me know.

I think since I use Swords that I will need STR armors, correct?  I also have a staff set but that doesn't get used until Monk, and we all know that ain't happening anytime soon.

However, staffs are the opposite of swords, so pump DEX on staff users, STR on sword users, right?  Pretty sure I have been paying attention but I want a YES or NO before I buy more gear.


swords: 75/25 staffs 25/75 str dex rate.
Go for str with sword or dex if you have a str charm, I think that with using either a dex charm/ str armor or dex armor/str charm while going full str with stats can be a succes

Well if staffs are like daggers go full dex...
Did a full dex build on guildys sammy.Used a 64 dex plate and 51 dex charm at mq.
Had a 187ee 55 dagger was awsome...avg dmg was 1075 crit was over 3k (this was 1 game from 55-71)

MQ Armor - 49 Dex
MQ Charm - 50 Str

I use swords. Even statting FULL STR, my ratio will not be 75%/25%, it will be more like 60/40, so I dont know what to do...

This has not been tested either, that would require me to reroll as fighter, glyph a ton of stuff to make room, and probably renew my vault. All things I plan on doing but ya know how that goes...


Can anyone confirm the above? I will not be using staffs for a while so let's leave them out of it. First 3 blokes will be using swords and the same gear.

yes I figured, for me it would work since I wont be using 50 str/dex gear lol.

I think you just have to get a str armor then. Or dex if you go with a rogue using staves ofcourse. but going with a str armor + charm and doing the math on what to put into dex on which lvl would do fine I think.

And if you are do not put on a sig in the next 3 days, I'll make you one!

Was in a cata with rick a few climbs ago...
He decided to test the str/dex crap out with his swords.
When we started the cata he was using his dex charm (dmg was decent but not close to before the update)
Then he switched to a str charm (his dmg went up to normal)
Not sure what he put his stats in but for sword str it the best i know that ^^

so putting on your dex charm instead of your dex charm helps?

2. Use my ee scales, be more of a tank but less damage.



And feel free to make me a sig, suprise me with something (no homo ofc)
