It's always hard to say. Even if there are people at alchemist, it could be a few weeks before there's a winner. njaguar (Paul) is working on a new game, and the release schedule may effect LS continuity while people flock to try out the new game

no leveling for me yesterday.

today probably no major leveling either. work, training, girlfriend's coming back after a week of vacation...

i don't know if this is the right place for this, but this way everyone LS-ing inside The Ladder can read it and feel all warm and snuggly inside.
so sit down and let me reveal to you a story of charing and also of repentance.
as all of you have been able to see, i have been struggling to level in LS. i was using a lightning charm that was the best poor litlle old me could afford.
then out of nowhere Philosopher1 asks me if i want this charm:
Rare ice XII
Level Req: 45
Spell Damage: 144 to 173
Magic Cost: 115
+154% Enhanced Effect
+1 to 2 Magic per Combat Round

which let me tell you, is a decent boost from my old one.
so i tell him: 'of course, i want it. who wouldn't?'
upon which he buys it for me (400fg people!!!) and when i tell him i'll pay him back, he says: 'no need'.
After i thanked him a couple of times, i couldn't resist but to ask him: 'why did you do this for me?'
his answer:
"Because I was a dumbass and got kicked from The ladder. I can't earn them points any more. Doing this. Helping you mq and earn points makes me feel all warm and fuzzy inside."

my answer to him was this:
"this will earn u points inside The Ladder
this i vouch
i'll post something nice and cuddly in the Ladderpost
i feel it's time for a E-grouphug"


so people, i don't really really know what happened in the past. but it seems to me that Aaron (Philosopher1) is sorry for mistakes made and tries to help the guild in real ways.

Everyone, I'm just making an updated comment about the JayKwik/Intrasiege/Ryhn situation. I am officially neutral about it, for private reasons. From what I understand of the situation, there is a lot at stake on all sides, including some things I mentioned before. Most of the people involved in the situation are my friends. I protect truth, rules and friends, in that order. Fourth, I protect myself. Everyone can order these things as he or she wishes, but as members of The Ladder, the rules need to come before our own interests--do what you will with the rest

I've talked to all sides and from the point-of-view of truth, I still don't have all the information. It's my duty to protect the truth, but it's not my duty to extend private information into the public arena. Continue to question everything you hear, on all sides, if you are in conversation with people about the situation. Do not believe the hype! If you seek information, I can explain and even organize the public information without being an alarmist, but I will not divulge anything private.

Thanks for your time. Thanks to JayKwik, Ryhn, and Seraphim & Intrasiege members for talking to me about the situation. I odn't seek to draw further attention to the situation at this point, so I'm going to only address the situation privately unless there are questions or meaningful updates. The main point of making posts like these are to:
*speak reasonably, based on truth and information received, in order to help eliminate e-drama
*recognize that reputations and interests are at stake
*help Guild Members and jsp members understand the public side of the situation

Anyone who thinks I'm trying to create more e-drama is sorely mistaken. The point of the exercise is to be informative and to force people to think, instead of assume, before they discuss situations like these. Guild members may show support however they wish, as long as they respect truth, the rules, and their friends, and they bear in their minds and hearts what's at stake--especially the rules!

I'm going to take a run with my Mage tomorrow & hopefully I'll break in the 20s

I not only think this exemplifies great integrity on your part, but thank you for being open-minded to both parties. Most people are ignorant and only adhere to what is given to them as information. In no way do I think you are causing E-drama, you are only clarifing your stance and how you feel. I never was part of this E-drama, but I surely know what is going on .

i won't even pretend to know what's going on
but i've been seeing it mentioned in posts for more then a week now i think...
and i admit i've wondered why something happening over the internet is taking such a long time to being resolved...
(although it's not my bussiness, and i don't want to make it mine in any way)
