Good Guys Gazette -=- 11 FebYesterday, your normally attentive editor fell asleep on the job.
Olbaid had an attempt on the MQ, and was not mentioned in the scandal sheet.
For this, your un-observant editor performed the penance of self-flagellation with cooked spaghetti, no sauce, cheese or meatballs!
Reports are in that recovery will be swift, and that there is a shortage of pasta in the grocery stores.
Overnight, this intrepid Slasher also became Empire's second Samurai!
A rather subdued mention in the home enclave though!: "olbaid is back hehe"
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
All righty then -- time for the morning look at the top 5 guilds, as well as Good Guys in the top 50:
520 Desolate Carnage
448 Empire
357 The Trust
269 Divine Knights International
255 Chill
Chill is advancing upon DKI at a steady pace -- teamwork and high spirits could make this guild the next one to break the 300 barrier.
BleedingThrough Samurai 40 - attending to real life situations. We eagerly await his return.
Olbaid Samurai 10 - The Empire speed demon is back, determined to see his guild into #1 status.
Natesterr Rogue 62 -- MF'ing to some higher area, looking for 'secrets'. might MQ at a moments notice.
Then there's the 3 fairly silent MF'ers:
Bifido Rogue 61
masterak Barbarian 60
corgan Magician 60
And 2 DC slashers who just might go head-to-head today:
Crank Rogue 58
whatthehell Rogue 57
When others advance from the feeder ladders to the top 50, their arrival will be prominently announced.
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Speaking of arrivals:
MoRtiX becomes this season's first Ninja! after roughly 2 weeks of slashing.
This player deserves special recognition by all slashers --
Aktak is the only player active in LS for his guild.
Despite this, he is the highest player on the ladder this season, and if you take a look at the individual GP
earnings, he is among the top 5! And -- without having reset the ladder in any previous season!
Aktak 175 <<< the player
175 Friends << his guild
As opined by this scribbler at the start of session4 -- this could well be the most interesting one yet!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
The day turns to evening, night falls with a thump!
Not much from the Good Guys today, but there has been some slight changes in the overall GP's:
520 Desolate Carnage ------------- no change
449 Empire --------------------------- gain of 1 point
367 The Trust ------------------------ gain of 10 points
269 Divine Knights International --- no change
255 Chill -------------------------------- no change
Note - these are changes that took effect during the day - there were other moves during the night that escaped the camera's sharp eye
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
It appears I may have missed an Empire point today.. Could Olbaid have snuck another Empire point in and kept quiet?
Gonna have to keep a sharper eye on this E-team speedster!
His total points will have to do:
olbaid 198 --- just needs 2 more for the 200! He has more points than most of the guilds!!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Todays program has been brought to you by the benevolent ophtalmological society for visually challenged editors
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Late note -- just before press-time!Whatthehell has suggested a four-for-all!
Tomorrow may see a friendly get-together for a concerted attack upon the intransigent MQ
Four Good Guy Slashers are set!
Whatthehell, Bifido, Natesterr and Crank may do a multiple assault and hopefully one or more will emerge as Samurai!
Plans are not solidified yet, but you can rest assured that there will be skulduggery involved!
Chances are that a wild card may be played as well --
Olbaid is always ready for a party!
That's it --- Time to slap this paper on the sidewalk!!
