Good morning, guys!
I recieved this pm this morning:I see you're head of a growing guild and do well financing it accordingly to promote it. I am relatively new to LS (3rd week) and have taken note to your situation. I have been looking at the ladders for proficiencies and noticed I don't see your guild being represented well. In all actuality, I don't see L33T on either cooking or fishing. I'm sure you are aware of the updates Paul is working on for catacombs and to promote group play coming around the corner.
Alright, here is what I was thinking. I aspire to be #1 in both cooking and fishing. Right now for my proficiencies, I am 24th Fishing, 13th Cooking, 20th Glyph, and 7th Muting. I was thinking how a steady supply of cooked fish could benefit your guild and improve the speed / efficiency that everyone attains GPs. With this being said, I was curious if you were interested in a buisness proposition: I would continue to focus on Cooking & Fishing. I would also place my finished product in your guild vault as I lvl. I would continue to fill this until there wasn't room as I progress. You in turn could 'sponsor' this activity by donating to me per month: 400fg(guild vault fees) + 150fg / total lvl of fishing/cooking. This would be an upfront payment each month and our agreement could cease at your leasure at the beginning of any month at yours or my discression. I would have no reason to stop if you upheld your part of the bargain, but the clause needs to be stated for both sides.
Your benefits would be a constant supply of cooked fish & guild recognition on the charts. Also, as an added incentive, a 2500fg bonus would be applied to each ladder achievement of hitting the #1 rank.
Just a unique idea I thought of and thought I would run it past you. You seem to be a business man, so feel free to say 'no thnx' instead of telling me to 'f off' if you decide this isn't in your interest.
Thanks,
Does anyone understand what he is talking about? Does his idea benefit the guild? If so, how does it benefit the guild with his fish?
Ok, lets hear your opinions.
