statting and gearing a sword wearing hybrid completely ruins all my setups.....
since i need more str then dex and all my gear is dex/hm
im starting to not like this at all

no need to sell out just alter how you stat your character. if you have dex gear you can stat pure strength, or vice versa, depending on what weapons you use. give it a few days and people will have the mathcraft all worked out.

you can certainly stat both. your damage would gain because you are adding STR. keep your str:dex ratio at 75:25 (basically not statting any dex cuz u have dex gear) and maybe add 1 point of str for every 2 int? i dont know it will take testing, but you certainly cant give up before even trying.

also, its not like having 100 str and 150 dex is going to hurt you a ton using swords, but it would be wiser to go 175 str 75 dex. (since sword damage is based MOSTLY FROM STR)

you will just have to find some way to get INT in there, but it wont be impossible just takes some pre-planning.

if i stat anythign other than int then i suffer with my mana pool and healing power.
since i hybrid on heavy classes with low int mainly.
i will almost always ahve 90-100 dex with mq gear on if i dont change any.
i stat int all the way up to lvl 46 usually then dex to reach 100
no matter what unless i stat only str my ratio will not be 75-25 so unless i switch to str/hm gear ( which will be more expensive and take several months like i have to finally get a decent set up going )


and i dont get why its 75 str and 25 dex for a sword when it has low low end dmg and high high end dmg. crits with swords are more needed imo then str

then keep statting int. you will still do damage with the weapon, it's not like by stating only int you cant use a melee weapon. you are hybrid, meaning a mix of healing/melee but you will not be better than a mage at healing nor will you be better than a fighter at melee. you can do both decent, but not either of them as good as a pure healer or pure melee. hybrids have always been this way, its not like this patch has nerfed you

my hybrid wont be as sexy most likely
and actually healing 1k at 55 with a fighter is pretty good compared to most mages out there that i have seen healing lol.

i just think that i will be better off getting str/ hm gear now instead idk tho this is fucked lol.
