So how do you guys like the update?

ok
imo

this patch was the game exploiting some peoples broken LS groups
i find the ability to qwickly run back to town and shrine
when timed properly is a huge huge advantage

healers are still relevant
when u have two casters bouncing off eachother
and a good healer
then really only one preson has to shrine
therefore more people are kept killing more often
this speeds up the game

with so many people grabbing shrines
the healer is still relevant to those that lose the drop game

with weapons given exact stat distributions
it puts to rest all the myths surrounding "optimal" str/dex crit/avg estimations
i had the opportunity to bring my stats into line with the required stating for staff axe and sword
the damage increased in a way that i would not have been able to do before

the laser show os a bit much
but im learning to ignore it

for now i give it a 5/10
lets see the nest updates

remeber paul started with te most dramatic game mechanic changes and grafix updates soon
he nerfed, unnerfed and then nerfed again many mods
the rest im sure are going to be command adds

immunities
perhaps stating for each type of element?

this patch hasnt affected me the melee/healer at all

ii also think that unless u are going to hybrid cast
it would be better to go straight melee

hybrid healers dont cut it anymore

also i think that ee armors have become more important
hm will use dexterity mod values as price checks

int will become par with str mods

leathers and scales go through the roof
and ice/foc heals go sub par with other heal types

thast it for now

i dont mind the update

i just cant find my freinds anymore
it was fluke i bumped into chris

LOL I ran into chris too xD but was shortlived cuz i had to go to school.

I'll still be playing this game , I like it more in away since the patch .

Downside is I don't see why he would eliminate the well from town


Arena doesn't so much bother me since you can town anytime during cata

I don't understand way ambush / ep's is so hard( Unbelievable how hard they are .. )..

i dont think uve been ambushed yet under the new patch chris
and its not that hard

its only SEEMS hard because REAL ee armor has fallen out of style
u guy with alot of hitpoints isnt a tank
a person with some int and a heal charm isnt a healer

what i think that paul did
was to snap the ee caps back in line
and people are getting slammed
because they were taking the free ride from before for granted
also they are not doing the same damage anymore

however
when i did the thing for staff (3x more dex than str)
my staff damage went way way up
all the str in the world never got my staff damage this hi
