also, anyone gonna play D2 when ladder resets? I am NOT an Expansion fan, so I'll be on Classic D2. 90%+ of my D2 career has been played on Classic. Yes, I have been through LoD multiple times, yet I find Classic far more enjoyable.

I play D2: LOD ladder right now on USEast

I tried classic, got a sorc up to 68 or so, couldn't stand it.

If I should ever decide to quit LS and/or focus more on D2 instead, I'd keep all/most of my gear, just in case. D2 stuff is CHEAP compared to LS stuff. I figure I got about 5k worth of LS gear. But the current 200fg I am sitting on is enough to outfit a couple decent characters in Classic D2.

Are you insane? Classic D2 is pretty expensive

no I'm not.

People overpay for certain items (whether for style points, or popularity, etc...) but there are other items that work just as well, at a fraction of the cost and that is what I go for

heh. Style means nothing in my book. I have used Rattlecage, purple doesn't bother me at all, but the Chance to Flee kills it.

Meh my classic char is non-ladder so its abandoned.
