Good to know thanks! Yeah I doubt I have any EE padded, my MQ armor is a 40 dex level 55 non-padded, got critted a few times for 11xx last climb. Facing 3 regular mobs was scary. It reminds me of when I first started HC, in the Arena with my mage, my MQ charm being a 49 EE XIV lightning, killing a single mob and having to regen
/Set easy 1 turns on easy mode
/Set easy 0 turns off easy mode
You will notice that any character who has not yet completed the MQ for this season automatically has easy mode enabled until they complete the MQ. You can disable this the first time.
Prior to level 71, easy mode limits your random encounters to 2 regular monsters or 1 EP.
Once you hit level 71, you can encounter up to 3 regular monsters, but still only a maximum of 1 EP.
Only encountering 1 EP stinks since they seem to be your best chance for finding items these days, but I consider the safety of not having to worry about getting blasted by 3 EPs at higher levels, especially on a robe class, to be a worthwhile trade-off
