do you guys have ANY idea how hard it is to adopt from a shelter? holy shit is it difficult
i had NO luck with the shelters i went to today (none of them had a pug or a corgi which i wanted anyway)
Not only did they not have what i wanted, but i didnt meet their requirements as i do NOT have a indiana state drivers license.... despite meeting all other criteria.
I have a massive fenced in backyard at my new house (pics of new house should be up tommorrow
) so plenty of room
THOUGH i did have luck on craiglist.
Lady was 3 hours away, and had a 3 year old corgi, that was up for over a month now, and was going to the shelter on friday if no one wanted him.
Hes fucking adorable, so we got him
So not exactly from the shelter, but was about to be there, so sorta saved him from the shelter
Hes still a little skeptical about his new home, but getting used to it
