Now that I'm in Tier XIII again, I'm focusing on the arena for drops..Last time I didn't come up with much but a few mutes..hoping for a change of pace this time..either in drops or success..
Didn't get far this weekend as it was my Daughter's 3rd birthday and we threw a big picnic party for her..but I plan to Quest again soon..



Thats a real bummer..was that in the arena? or where? I sure hope you are back to slashing again soon..Maze won't be the same without ya..

Ty. i was accually in the well.. lvl 50 heal charm.. i wasnt even at half life.. was cruising along thinking that i was accually going to get something decent.. then BOOM 3x hits super fast for over 1k ea. i have NO idea how the hell he hit me so fast.. this last death has taken alot of fun outa ls for me.. i started again.. another barb.. but this time i just pumped the hell outa vita (85 base) and im just going slow again.. i got SUPER lucky on the mp though.. found a 59ee lvl 55 club for 150fg.. thats super cheap no matter how ya look at it still need armor and still need a charm for mq gear..

i just cant quit this game.. so damn addicting

I was more into the details revolving around its dropping...whether from the maze or no maze section of cats..and the # of mobs present at encounter..ect..

hey guys its been crazy here, i havent been called back to work yet some im helpin out @ my parents buisness. were sleeping up here and working like 16 hour days. ive been running out of town every night picking up generators from one of our distributors and getting back here @ like 2 am, waking up @ 6 and working till 6-8. I am still alive but i feel like shit and wont be on much till all of this cools down.

they can drop in both maze and classi catas, number of mobs doesnt really matter from my experience

Good to know..thats exactly what I was after...usually no one is on when I am...so I end up doing maze (max mob=2) or doing first mob of graduating cata..and haven't been able to say much about anything dropping of any value in the new items..and probably my best drops thus far were Tier VIII-TierXI mutables..and most unworthy of sale..In fact, I'd have to say I spent more on mutes this climb then I made off them..
..but then again..
we all know how addictive muting can be

And to give you an example of how deep it runs in me: I have one of those cheap editors for offline D2 that I use to test out theories (is there anyone who doesn't?) Well..I ran 2 pcs..having my "cuber" host the game and joining with a pgem mule..
I cubed GC's,SC's and Jewels..I recorded the data...I compared using variables of: Direct origin of Item (Baal, Nihl, Thresh, Diablo, Minions..ect), Gem combination, Level of cuber, Mf of Cuber, and lastly..weather conditions..
Approx Duration of Experimenting=4000-6000 manhours(well..people hours, as I roped my wife into the fun as well )

Results: Inconclusive as a whole due to lack of data .. Though I will say that I favor a mix of sapphires/diamonds/amethyst...any 2 to any 1 over any other mix for Gc's and skulls/emeralds for small charms..and amethyst/ruby for jewels...and I prefer them to be from Baal/Nihl or Listor...Although it would seem was has a much better chance of getting a skill Gc from a Diablo or The Grand Viz of Chaos..

Now..I suppose if I knew how to read script I could have saved myself all the trouble..but I don't know anything about that so Santa still exists for me..

Back on topic: Catacombs..

Its alot of fun but I feel like I'm wasting away my levels in there and not having much to show for it..I think from Tier XII and up I'm gonna stay with the arena until I have some better equipment...or at least a backup MQ setup..catacombs have me broke..

Right now I'm doing one level of no cats and one level of just cats..haven't found much either way in a while..

Glad to hear you are still hangin in there Bo..Hope things become less chaotic for you soon..
