This is from the New York Times. If you read the paragraph outlined in red you will see that Spent MOX fuel
which contains 7% Plutonium was damaged and blown 5,000 feet in the air and was found a mile from the plant.
Plutonium hits air and turns to metallic dust which is then carried by the jet stream. Not schizo
