well shit.... Paul is actively making HC impossible to play....

People complained the game was too easy so he changed it with higher levels for unlocking classes. Now it's too hard. Its a 3 day random event. Play lower characters and climb mules. Might find some nice gear. I'm about to run a map with more monster dif to see what I can find. Yes I know i'm playing sc so it's different.

If they thought it was too easy they should’ve just played hc....

Trust me don't go down that road. A bunch of sc players did come over and play. Made fun of how much vita we used. Climbed with us and in G/o for EE got bored with hc stopped and went back to sc.

Plebs got bored not using perfect gear all the way up and went back to tutorial mode. They probably whistled the whole way too. Besides this was before events returned. The game was easy af without 120% monster difficulty being added. They didn't have to deal with this bullshit and paul just messed with a event mod with no idea how its going to affect the actual playability of the game.

Yeah i was pretty stoked to come back and play but if every event is +monster difficulty, i dont know how long itll last. I just hoped on to see if the hype is real, and got one EP, crit me for like 500 immediately lol, and that was just 1.

Just play easy mode so you only get 1 and only 2 regular mobs max.

Been outta the game for years so let me clarify, is easy mode where you "whistle" for mobs?

Added a new command to toggle single player "easy mode": /set easy [1|0]

This feature determines how many monsters spawn when you are playing solo. In easy mode, only 1-2 regular monsters will spawn, and only 1 evil presence at a time. Regular mode is 1-3 monsters or evil presences. This feature is enabled by default until you complete your first Master Quest of the current season.
To see your current single player mode: /set easy
To enable: /set easy 1
To disable: /set easy 0

You're char is on easy mode for your first climb.
