imo this would be a good suggestion to post in the fourm. if 2 guilds want a merger but dont want to lose points, maby like 2-5k fg or w/e to create a merger, member slot, gps, note boxes etc all add to eachother. would be interesting for some one to pm this idea to paul.

So you pretty much want to lower your overall effectiveness for the purpose of gaining profs?

I don't understand it. you don't get MQs and drops by killing slowly - I don't think it's worth spending that much fg (that you don't have) for a drop in efficiency.

I think you do not get the logic to this.
1. I build the foundation of the build... even prior to any passes
2. FG is a fickle thing... to be honest... if I wanted alot of fg... I would not have basically given it away
3. MQs are for when I am competing against someone... they are not my main concern
4. Items come and go...

In the last 18 days... I have only gained 12,600 proficiency points / 11 GPs
1 Month prior to me passing to Ninja, I gained over 55,000 proficiency points and 12 GPs
NOTE: the last 18 days in that Month... 8 of them being GPs...

Neither of those totals include the pass to Ninja

Personally... I look at the profitability of how I do things based on the long term basis.

In six (6) months
330,000 proficiency points
Rank25 in one single Skill

or

Rank10 in six different Skills

So... can you imagine my casting Rank25 Ice in Catacombs if Ladder has not been reset and I am a Lock?
Each of those charms would basically be over 110% ee in effect...

Now... If I continued down the path of the last 18 days and bought better EE charms... say by 10%

75,600 proficiency points
Rank12 in one single Skill

Dang... so 112% ee charm and only rank12... hmmmm... and the lose of more fg.... hmmmm

Rex, by casting on the ninja you may get a few profs, but the huge decrease in climb speed may well mean you never hit warlock. Those profs won't be so much use then.

IMO the best way to build profs up is by simply climbing in arena, which (hopefully) you'll do with a warlock anyway. you'll increase them rapidly then (i got 6 earth prof from ~3 climbs, 30-71), when you actually have a use for them.


Maybe you'll change your mind when you try casting a ninja for a few levels. It certainly won't be fast at gaining either levels or profs.
