I have definately done some runs with members of your guild... and yes... they are just as like minded as us, helpful and friendly.
The idea of a merge is a good one... I can see the increase of productivity for both sides, and the goodwill between us being great.

Now I know you are waiting for a "BUT" in there... I am not going to really do that (well not in a sense anyway)

I would like to see a "Bridge" between our guilds... one where we post in each others Guild Chat at times
to setup Cata runs... maybe a bit of competitions to get the blood flowing etc... this way... we remain who
we are... but achieve better and faster feats...

Even to create a "•.(>^.^)>.• & Divine Servants SC Catacombs" thread... this is bridging to me... and we all use it.

#1: vault transfers
#2: No "only guild" catas (gives more xp and better drop-rate)
#3: The gp's are placed out in 2 guilds, which mean that we will get 2 ~slow guild instead of 1 fast upgoing.
#4: #1, #2, #3 :D

#1: Vault: Risk would be a factor when trading on MP... but easily remedied (searching function kill snipers)
#2: Hmmm... do you really get better drops and XP for Guild Only cata? Anyway... this is where we can setup the Mirror Maze for both guilds to get some extra GPs

just some thoughts on this whole combining guild business...

I earned my first GP with this guild, and I planned on staying here until I got kicked out. I am sure a few people are the same. I have played with a few of you guys in DS, and all have been GM games, nice and fast too. Our group has both ends of the spectrum, we also have people who might get 1GP in a month or two's time, and that is perfectly fine for the stage we are at. Hell, I am happy to break 500GP, that is a huge milestone. I will look forward to 750 and someday 1,000. I have no real problem with doing that at our pace, I guess if I wanted to be in a top 10 guild, with my FG and GPs I have earned I am sure I could join one, but that is not what I want. This is my "home" and I am comfortable and happy here.

I have no problem at all being allies, and I realize it would be more "efficient" if we merged, but we would have to do it without me leaving this guild.



Back to being a vegetable... hungover lazy day -_-

1.1k is quite much to pay for that, since the only item worth somthing over 100 is the lvl 55 :D

Our guild got some of the best melee'ers and one of the best healers LS have ever seen..

Put that together with •.(>^.^)>.•'s potential slashers with some GG gear, and ull have alot of nice catas going!

And the #3 u said there is right imo aswell ^^

would just be cool if this would work, and if u guys were up for it!!

Yes... some of your guys do have a great setup...
And with our guys... it makes for even better setups.
But... I think the consensus is No for merging... but Alliance is definate

The Ice charms are a good deal for a Prof Hunter like myself... 5 times charms for a total of 1.2k fg is a bargain.

OK so you might like to get some profs but it's not worth the complete loss in efficiency. I casted paly pre-nerf. and yet I, and 90% of the other players, all melee'd the first ~30 levels because the mana pool was too small to be any good. that was when charms did FAR more damage than now, and ninja's have even less int that paladins.

I don't see why'd you want to cast when your character is such a melee beast. It makes no sense and defies all logic.

I won't be casting all the way...
I will be making hybrid... melee/healer
At certain levels... I will cast for sure... I have the gear

Int... 60
Dex... 90
Str... Rest

The gear I have can help me to cast from level 1 to level 35... then back to sword.
I will NOT always cast in-between those levels... but alot of them I will for prof gains.

Okay ... this is my Goal for the Month (hopefully with no outside interference)

You have the advantage with this also... last month I only gained 55,000 proficiency points total.
Rank0 to Rank10 Ice is exactly 55,000 proficiency points.
Rank20 to Rank22 Sword is 43,000 proficiency points (but I am at 60% 20-21... so 32,000 approx)
Rank10 to Rank12 Focus heal is 23,000 proficiency points (make it 15,000 because I am 75% to 11)

I by rights... should not be able to achieve this for two (2) months... and I am making it hard for me to achieve.

Edit... noticed your edit.
The reason why alot of people do not (NOT) gain much prof points during the low levels is because of three (3) major points

1. Their charm was too powerful and killed in 1 hit
2. They did not collect up +Mana gear (now they are paying for these items and at alot higher prices)
3. They used casting characters that had high intelligence which dealt more dmg... not gaining much profs
