Nice set up ,but is that packing tape on your plaster ceiling holding the wires up?
I would suggest running wires along the floor with a rug or cabinets to hide them ,
because that tape may remove some plaster when it falls or is removed.

Yes it is, however if you look to the side there is no wall to the left side of the room, the room extends further so I can't run it along the floor or it will be a tripping hazard.

I don't really have any desire to cut up my new carpet to run it either. I will be finding something better to hold it on the roof (probably some type of nail) I just installed it today though.
