If by soda lemon/lime you mean to chase with after draining a pint, try Mountain Dew. If you mean to mix? Heathen!

I've never been a big vodka fan since I got so sick off of it when I was 16. Then again at 19.

Those were really the only times I've been physically ill (poisoning) from alcohol.

However, Miller Ale House runs double Skyy vodka's for $5 all day every day. I must say that I do enjoy Skyy Orange and soda water. I hate the taste of vodka on it's own, it's fucking terrible. Whiskey (bourbon is my personal choice) or scotch is where it's at.

...Apples contain less vitamin c then lemons or limes. What do they teach you kids these days?

Source: Medline

Food Sources Return to top

All fruits and vegetables contain some amount of vitamin C. Foods that tend to be the highest sources of vitamin C include green peppers, citrus fruits and juices, strawberries, tomatoes, broccoli, turnip greens and other leafy greens, sweet and white potatoes, and cantaloupe.

Other excellent sources include papaya, mango, watermelon, brussels sprouts, cauliflower, cabbage, winter squash, red peppers, raspberries, blueberries, cranberries, and pineapples.

Alchohol poisoning is a bitch, and vodka is the easiest to get it with. The vomiting for the first day is horrid, but it's the month or two of nausea, and the chills and heat flashes... My god.

Still love vodka though. In fact, I think I need to go get me a glass, and ulcer be damned. ><

If you're looking for focused vitamen C, then supplements are where it's at. But an apple a day keeps the doctor away, the old saying, you know? leads back to scurvy prevention.

Personally, I'd say if you want focused vitamen C from fruit, then go with oranges and tangerines. Very high vitamen C concentration, and taste far better than lemons and limes, and don't take the risk of contaminating your vodka by mixing it with foreign substances. laugh.gif
