the problem is the solder they used is so brittle that when it heats up / cools down alot it makes tiny cracks that electricity cant get through, so you get a heat gun and heat up a chunk of the board (between the video scaler and the gpu) and re-bead all the solder linking the two
you only risk breaking it when you don't know what you're doing dumb ass.
and you put new stronger solder on it.
