I want to publicly apologize for all the shenanigans i have placed upon your guild.
With the entry and early exit of myself, along with robert and aaron

I personally hope this doesn't hinder our e-freindship(rick) and future e-friendship(rew)

So, I've read a ton of guides on barbs, most say go all strength. I have to this point, but is there a point where I should switch to dex or keep going all str?

My basic melee plans work like this: get your dex up to 120 (+/- 5), using dex mods on armors and charms.

all stats go into str

i have used this very successfully on my fighters, and don't see why it shouldn't work for a barb

Hmm, so dex>life steal? I've been trying to get life steal to keep my health up. I have basically no dex at all from items atm.

life steal is great whenever you can use it -- but remember - when you replace a piece of gear to upgrade, you may have to let the lifesteal go.

I use it on my end-game gear, where it will never be replaced by anything else

OK, thanks for the info. I just bought a 25 dex body armor to see how it shakes out. So far I'm definitely killing faster.
