I think fort bows suck. I had one for my merc for some reason at one point. I tried it on my zon too. It was kind of weak, and disappointing. :( I think an upped witchwild would actually be better than a fort.

Fort bow is awesome.
You get like 8-9k defense without chilling.

For physical pvm bowas, the set gloves with demon%+ brand bow= savage damage.
I had fun with an 08 wf for pvm as well. Lot's of damage. Hell, you could try an upped buriza or w/e that crossbow is.
I've always wanted to make one of those.
