Hello again.!

I made it back just a few minutes ago.
I didnt win no money

I did fish in tropical storm Ike saterday though, with 8 foot waves and 70 mph winds and nice down poors.

I got the tent broke, high winds of course. New tent, also its first outing. Its ruint.
Dropped a 250$ rod and reel in the lake. I did however recovery it. Only to break the rod when I got it to the surface. Not sure how I did that eather. Nontheless its broke in half. Then while I was going about 30mph in a boat lane in 8 foot waves. I go of in a wave trough and hit a stump. Ruint a $500 prop. Hopefully it can be repaired. At least it didint hit the boat!! I had to idle back 3 miles in very very rough waters. The new rain suit did ownderfull in the rain! but the huge waves crashing over the boat did it in. I got soaked.

I took $1000 cash with me this weekend made it back with $150. Lol To top that off the fish went biting . I caught a dozen or so but nothing worth weighing in.


Sooo what did I miss around here? anything intresting?

I hope next weekends championship tourny goes a lot better for me I am due for a good one .

As bad as it seems my trip, I must say there others that faired far worse.

Friday there was a boat crash involv ing 2 two boats travling at around 70mph. They were running staggered with the front boat on the right, the front boat then turned left and directly in front of the other boat. Anyways the 2nd boat runs over the front boat while it is turning. 3 people were involved, with all 3 being mediflighted out. As far as I know 1 person died on the way. The other 2 people were critcal Saterday. As far as the radio said anyways.

As bad as my trip seems, this is far worse I feel for the familys and survivors.
