I've heard that quite often Steam has sales on this game where you get the game and a preset amount of GC for simply what the game costs. I'm wondering if anyone knows when these sales usually pop up, or if they already had one recently.

They come at random times, some times during the steam sale.

If you don't mind me asking, what do you need gc for?

Mostly for lockers and for guild server upkeep.
