Fg is more valuable though. Would you rather get paid in usd or peso? Usd can be used in more countries then the peso.

very nice observation. all these guys that dont want to sell items for the exact ratio are only trying to take advantage of the fg system and control the market place so people are forced to pay these outrageous prices
i dont think that is why this forum was made.. to ripp people off. these guys dont diserve to be members of this community and i will not trade with any of them personally. i am currently blacklisting all of them

Still, you can buy 100 $ of gc, sell it for fgs, and then buy fucking lots of items, Selling them for Gcs, then buying fgs.
Repeat for 2x profit per sale since it's 1:2.5...

1,000FG = $10 Or less in most cases.

1,600GC = $10


True ratio 1:1.6 2.5 is very generous. We we be rening servers for 4-10k GC a a month LOL Thats when the value of GC will surpass the FG

I really don't think it matters what kind of math you do or numbers you crunch, the seller can list their items for what ever price they want. It's up to the buyer to decide if they think it's reasonable or not.
