I know it's for beta but I thought it was total beta access. Now that I have bought the legend pack I don't ever "have" to pay for the game again correct? Unless there is some sort of content update?

once you bought the game you own it, all updates are free.

only things that cost more are Server rentals, Stronghold rentals and buying IG currency.

are stronghold and server rentals different? I thought a server rental WAS a stronghold

Strongholds are just a small little base server (much smaller) with probably a small town with a few buildings in it, you can turn it into a clan base or use it how ever you want.
there are zombies on the Stronghold map as well, but loot is limited to only food/water/bandages you wont find any weapons or anything like that on them from what i understand.

server rentals are just like the normal game just you own that server, when more maps become available you will probably be able to choose what map your server will be also.
