Well here is how I see it.... I asked for an offer and you demand to see a price first even though I asked for your offer. Of course I am going to say a high number because you are hoping I say a number lower than what you have in your head. The right move in this spot would be to do a counter offer and not laugh in my face and try to insult me. But to each their own.
