You buy diablo gold..
Your gonna get the 1,000 = $10 value..
why try and fight the fact. lol 1,000 = $10..
YOu dont buy gold.. You donate to the site.
If you donate $10 the site gives you 290fg for doing so.. NO person in thier right mind would buy FG $10 for 290 then try to buy something off this site.. makes no sence. lol
You donate.. you dont buy fg. You wanna buy fg? Check the donor forums.
you wanna donate for the site? then you get 290fg per $10
Case in point:
true ratio 1- 1.4
To get access to the donor forum... you have to donate 25$+ for a CHANCE to get in
So, obviously, people are paying 10$ for 290fg (more like a 1:30fg ratio at 15$). Otherwise nobody would get into the DF....
You could donate 1k + fg. Certainly a decent amount, and kinda sucks for just a chance to get in. Bit of a gamble?
Like Skye said, you cant compare a game with an ingame RL auction house to the entire value of FG.
Not every game is so easily accessable in the terms of spending IRL money for stuff in a game. Going through JSP provides some sort of safety as there are mediators and a community. As opposed to sending paypal information to a random person.
Lastly, its supply and demand. You cant argue over the value of something, when supply and demand is factored in. If someone is selling something for a price, and someone buys it, its obviously worth that much to the person buying.
If the ratio was so screwed, nobody would buy, which would cause people to lower their prices to a point where people are buying. Its all an equilibrium, and its not rocket science.
