Idk, good question. I've shot 10 rounds in to someone's chest and they finally went down. I just got lucky with the pistol, the first shot was a headshot.

+1 I killed some guy lastnight guy logs onto a new char and it was like I got killed with a hammer but no one was around me dude never even grabbed gear
