i had a slight feeling to play after watching dakotaz stream and realising there was servers for non hackers

so i went to log in and my account is permanently banned, last time i played i bought a server but im 100% sure the funds came out correctly

other than that i cant think of a reason that i would get banned, i barely even played and i had like 15 total kills ever..

i cant remember ever doing a bullshit shot that someone would report, most of my kills were Bambis

any other reasons people get perm banned?

maybe your account was accessed/phished/cracked and used by another hacker or friend who used your account and hacked.

Outside of that, there would be no reason they would have banned you. I have been reported many times, including the first day fairfight came out and never even got a warning.

This goes for the 9-15 other people I play with (minus the one that does cheat :C)

If you know you didn't do anything wrong I would email hammerpoint and ask them why you were banned and to view the logs on your account to see if a different ip/dns was used.

I get PB kicked all the time for random crap but 99.9% account banned had a reason for it.



edit: if it makes you feel any better, I just deleted my 2nd highest xp char full of gear on accident

when was the last time you played? There was a time when warz/infestation player account information were compromised and Hammerpoint/Arktos Entertainment Group urged everyone to change their login info.

last time i played was roughly the same time the name was changed to infestation, maybe a week or two prior to that.
ive sent them an email asking about it, i don't think i was hacked, p/w is the same as my email and gmail lets u know if someone attempts to access it

fucking weird, spose ill just buy another acc, they are cheap, just don't want my new acc getting banned out of the blue, when i look on my comp for ESP or something its coming up with my guildwars2 bot, maybe it detected those files and thought it was a hack for infestation?

edit: found a post on tumblr about them banning people who pick up 'hidden' items, if this relates to chests in camp splinter that i got a deagle from, that could be why

i had a friend who was randomly banned also about 6 days ago.



he did nothing wrong.

if ur gettin banned, u know exactly why, so dont complain about it, its on u
ive been playin this game since the first day of alpha. Ive played with tons of players, none of them got banned "randomly"
