So apparently "The War Z" was greenlighted by Steam (2?) days ago and was quickly removed due to the sheer amount of complaints and demands for refund

Apparently the page on steam for The War Z had a fair amount of "features" listed that..aren't in the game. Such as skills, 142km world (in reality its currently 100km or something like that) 100 person servers (50 in reality) rented servers and private servers (neither enabled yet) PvE and PvP areas..apparently there is no PvE areas and was not advertised as an ALPHA game

After Steam removed it for being "prematurely issued" the executive producer or some higher up from the company behind War Z went on to blame customers for "reading the page incorrectly"

Now I was curious about this game before all this came about and after this I went around and checked out some reviews and well..my interest is gone.

Now there are claims that the War Z literally copy pasted images of zombies from shows like The Walking Dead and other zombie horrors for there front page logo/splash/banner or whatever.

Now I don't own the game nor have I played it but from what I have been reading and seeing in reviews..its quite horrible. Anyone here have The War Z and can elaborate if these reviews hold merit or is the game not as horrible as they are saying ?

just wait for dayz stand alone like everybody else

Ive already put multiple hours into this game just to find that when I finally got into a city that there is no furniture in any of the buildings along with glitching zones that will randomly cause you damage. That being said my biggest complaint is the glitching zombies that will glitch into the middle of cars and kill you without you being able to shoot at them. I lost a assault rifle yesterday to a zombie glitching up through a CRATE.

I ticketed for my refund already... Its a shame that with a couple more months of development this could have been something amazing.

P.S. Those bastards that made this game promised my newly created characters a flashlight, bandages, food and water when starting. After steam decided to no longer offer the game even though I was promised those items they took them away permanently ....

The War Z Developer is garbage and doesnt deserve his own game.

The game has a hacking/cheating problem.

as does every online game

DayZ has less hackers

I have still never seen one hacker yet in warz

Dayz has plently of hackers when i played
