Some people may be concerned about Black Lancers being too squishy, so I made a comparison vid. Both TZ 96 Hephasto and the Black Lancer (ignore that it says Dark Lancer on the video) are bound in P5 with the same Bind level +/- 1. You can see that Hephasto has more HP and tanks a bit better, but nothing game-changing. This is the hardest content in the game and the Lancer can tank it for long enough without any Barb buffs and without P8. Most likely, people assume that because they are easier to kill, they will be as squishy once bound; but this isn't the case. I do advise you to spec into max Blood Oath however since it's the most busted skill in the Demon tree and only hard points count in it.
