Coming back to the thread after having my demon for a couple days now.

This demon is fantastic. OP is not asking for any more than people ask for Heph FG wise, and it takes him way more effort to find.

Sac your Heph and try this today, you will not regret it.

Dummy question since you seem to be a pro: does my warlock need to be charlevel 96+ to bind a level 12 aura demon ? Or does char level just cap the stats but not the aura level ?

As I understand it, you would need to be lvl 94, because the demon itself needs to be lvl 96. Since being 94 creates TZ 96, it would make sense that they get lvl 12 auras (convic and fanaticism gets their monster level divided by 8 = aura level). Some people say you also need to be level 96 but I remember testing it when I got lvl 94 and bound another fanaticism monster and I had more damage than with the previous level 11, so I don't believe that's the case.
