The consensus isnt really about the spell weaken. The consensus is that most people just dont do certain things. Precasting or using other classes spells are one of them..

Ok just because you follow the rules to a tee without ever questioning them that's not my fault. If a rule makes sense, you follow it, if a rule doesn't make sense you should question it. Don't be a sheep that just follow others without questioning or reasoning. That's not gonna bode well for you in real life.

A blanket rule that says all precast curses is BM isn't necessarily a good one.

Using other classes spells is one of them? - How about teleport charges from tele sticks or enigma or cta or so many other items that we all use? those are all gm aren't they?

I agree with that reasoning in real life sure, but for example if you wanna do GM melee chars or whatever, you are kinda expecting the other players you duel against to be on the same page. Build a 49 char and you can be my student!
