Defending is not attacking: The game no longer treats you as an aggressive/PvP-focused player if you are simply defending yourself against attackers.
Playstyle balancing: Matchmaking operates on a continuous scale between cooperative and aggressive, placing you with players who share similar playstyles over time. It is a probability, not a hard guarantee.
Post-patch fluctuations: Your playstyle history is saved, but you may occasionally see rougher or more hostile lobbies immediately following an update while the active player base updates and repopulates the server pools.
Loadout priorities: Matchmaking prioritizes placing players bringing custom loadouts into fresh servers rather than those using free loadouts.
