Is the game difficult / fun enough to just PvE or is PvP required to feel anything for the game? Just picked it up and seems too easy If you're not participating in a little pvp?

Try Solo vs Squad and hunt your fellow raiders :-). That is the Uber Diablo of Arc Raiders.

Then sell guns back to the community.

this game is Very easy. Most People load in with free loadouts, rat in dark corners, wait to third party, etc.

Games not difficult at all. Anyone who says otherwise is probably just bad at FPS.
to answer the question,
No its not fun enough to only PVE and quite frankly youll find yourself having to PVP eventually because even if you try to be in friendly lobbies, youll get ratted by kids who are lying.
